The food (this is the experience)

This isn’t just about learning.

Everything you gather and explore is reflected in the meals—prepared by a private chef using seasonal and wild ingredients.

This is what makes the weekend different.

This is why we have Alex - The Force of Nature Chef for the weekend!

What people say about our experiences

I recently did a full day foraging course with Alex at the Fold in Bransford. What a day! Alex was a superb teacher who walked out around the local area showing us plants we can and can't eat, what they are good for and which are poisonous. His knowledge of foraging, fermenting and food is incredible and this is an experience I would highly highly recommend! It was topped off by a canape feast that Alex served using a small portable stove that was sensational. Some of the flavours he created were like nothing I've tasted before. Already looking to book a fermenting miso course! - Will

What a great experience. We had been meaning to do a foraging course for a while and this has really opened up a can of worms. We plan to go out again as soon as we can and try and learn more. Cannot recommend Gavin enough, his knowledge and experience was first class. We will seriously be considering a follow up course with Gavin again if he is in the area. - Sam
